Manny Pacquiao in Chicago

May 21, 2008

A friend of mine IM me in Blackberry telling me that he read a news in Chicago Sun Times that the Filipino World Champion Boxer Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao will visit Chicago to to have a brunch with the Mexican and a Chicago Based Fighter Diaz and as well as to promote the Pacquiao VS Diaz in Las Vegas by June 2008.

They held the promotion at the Federal Plaza corner of Adams and Dearborn Streets; and just two blocks away from my work place.

To my luck, I got a chance to post with the boxing champion Manny Pacquiao. Watta Lucky Day!

The Joy of doing something "cooking lobster"

Stuck in a boring weekend, I tried to cook some LOBSTER for a change and experience on how my cooking ability will thrill myself. LOL

Watching TV when I'm home, I was fascinated with the Discovery Channel "Deadliest Catch", Food Channel "Iron Chef" and Travel Channel's "Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern"

I like those TV Shows.

I went to a Korean Store to get some fresh lobsters. It cost me around $34 something for 2 pieces of Lobster. It was 1.4 lbs each. If you are to compare the price in eating at Red Lobster Restaurant, this is a good deal. Anyways, I don't really care at the price more than what am I going to do. I was a little excited.

Confused on how to cook it good, I decide just to boil it as I was surfing the Google on what is the good cooking style for this. Anyways, its too late to have it with a fancy Wine or something. Good thing, I got a pot big enough to fit those two delicious lobsters.

After the cooking, it taste very good. I should do it again next time.

Anyways, that's my weekend story.
